What’s On at the Pankhurst
The pankhurst Centre is open every thursday and sunday
We’re open to the public on Thursdays and Sundays.
Entrance is by ticket, bookable here. We allow walk-ins on the day but please book to guarantee entry.
We are open 11am - 4pm, with last entry at 3pm.
Tickets are free, but we’d love it if you made a donation to help us keep the museum running.

Suffragettes and Vegetarianism
Thursday 23rd May
6.30-8.00pmCurator and historian Helen Antrobus explores the relationship between the women’s suffrage movement, the politicisation of women throughout the 19th and 20th centuries, and the remarkable history of the vegetarian movement’s roots in Manchester and Salford.

Family fun at the Pankhurst centre
We always have fun family activities on our open days during school holidays - from pavement chalking to museum trails to suffragette dressing-up - so join us during the school hols with your little radicals!
Our museum is designed to be a hands-on and immersive experience for ALL ages, with games, dressing-up and our beautiful garden to explore. Whenever you visit us there’ll be plenty for younger visitors to enjoy.

Pankhurst Projects
We’ve run a wide range of projects at the Pankhurst Centre, from generating a whole archive of Manchester women’s writing, to inspiring youth activism and uncovering the hidden ‘herstory’ of the 62 Nelson Street in our own archives!
