Suffragette: Holloway Prison Pin Badge

A replica of the badge (originally in silver) given to each suffragette upon their release from Holloway Prison, designed by Sylvia Pankhurst. The badge is styled as a portcullis with the arrowhead prison motto enamelled in the suffragette colours. On either side are small free-hanging chains representing the prison gate ropes.
